Do you ever get that feeling of unexplainable despair when you realize that everyone else around you is happier in one way or another, and yet nothing good has happened to you?

Eyes on me

I feel like I'm neglecting my blog. My bad. Turns out the rest of the internet and my life are more exciting at the moment.

I need some variety in life. Everything is the same old, same old. I know this Walnut Creek/Concord bubble like the back of my hand. School is out soon. So soon. Too soon. But not soon enough.

I need a girlfriend. Or a boyfriend. Or someone that can act like they're one. Well, that's what I have Su-yee for. Not good enough. Nothing is ever good enough. What the fuck Nik.

I have been watching a lot of Keeping Up With the Kardashians lately. I feel like watching another family on television dealing with their own problems keeps me satisfied with my own family. Don't ask me why.

I decided that I will do as many push-ups as I can everyday at least once. Or every hour or two. Or something. I'll be ripped.

You wait and see.

I failed my driver's test in Oakland today.

My instructor wasn't very nice... I mean, I get some people are naturally just grumpy, or perhaps she was just having a bad day, but come on. R-e-s-p-e-c-t.

Two minutes into the test, I was at a blind intersection. And being the good driver I am, I tried to "creep" forward to get look past the obstructions. But apparently I crept a bit too much, and so my instructor was screaming at me.

her: "STOP! YOU'RE GOING TO GET US INTO A HEAD ON COLLISION! DON'T YOU KNOW THIS IS A BLIND INTERSECTION?! YOU HAVE TO CREEP FORWARD!
me: "...I was."
her: "OH NO YOU WEREN'T, YOU WERE ABOUT TO GO FULL THROTTLE INTO THAT INTERSECTION! I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE YOUNG MAN! BACK THE CAR UP! DO I HAVE TO TEACH YOU HOW TO CREEP FORWARD?!"
me: "...No."

To be completely honest, at that moment, I was really about to tell her to start showing some fucking respect, even if I was younger and had less experience. So now I have to wait 15 days until I can try to retake the test. But knowing how crazy crowded the DMV always is, and how fast the time slots filled up, I have a feeling it's gonna be another long ass while.

With just one little problem

America's Next Top Model is on tonight. I think it's kinda weird how I really like that show. Well, at least primarily for the photography. The modeling is legit too I suppose. If I were a 5'9 woman at 120 pounds with a sharp face and decent proportions, I'd definitely try out for the show. Haha.

Until then, I'll just dream of the day Tyra says: "And I want you ladies to meet a very special man who's photographed me and many other well-known models across the globe, Nik Hernandez!"

The positives

I always think that love is based around the struggles both parties go through, rather than the good easy times that both parties enjoy.

My arm hurts. It is still massively bruised from giving blood. The needle moved out of my vein. Ouch. I hope my arm does not have to end up being amputated. But that's a pretty far stretch. But then again, my arm looks like I have been shooting heroin for the past three years. But lets just focus on the positives, shall we?
